PSYCHOLOGICAL OR BOTTOM-UP FORMS OF TREATMENT: IBBA (Integrative Brain-Based Approach)
The purpose of IBBA is to enhance self-regulation of the nervous system and work integratively with the person as a system, the person in a system, and the system in context. To process undischarged capsules of data (trauma), to look at how the nervous system and trauma inform a person’s interactional style and relational dynamics, to heal the nervous system from trauma and retraumatization, and to build resilient systems that can endure contextual stressors.
